In this message we take a look at the dynamics of shame, and honor. David is writing this psalm with a mind to see God not simply forgive him for his sins, but restore honor to him as a man and a leader for his failures. There are sins we that bring us shame. But there are also moments of shame that have nothing to do with doing anything sinful. Our gracious God is concerned about the weight of these things on our hearts as much as the weight of sin.
